Summary
What I have learned and what I have gotten out of my Digital Graphics and Media class this year...
I took this class because I was very interested in learning how to work and to excel in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash. At the beginning of the year, we started out with Adobe Photoshop. This program showed me how I am not only able to edit pictures, but how to create something new and original. By the end of the Photoshop section of the year, I was able to manipulate the program how I wanted and to create some incredible images.
After I completed the Photoshop section I moved to Adobe Illustrator. This program allowed me to manipulate how shapes and lines work even more than Photoshop did. I really enjoyed working in this program because I felt like I had so much freedom in making the illustrations that I did. I was able to use different tools to make the shapes I wanted and how I wanted them to look. Illustrator allowed me to open my mind up to new and creative things in order to make great illustrations.
When Illustrator was finished, I started on Adobe Flash. This program was by far my favorite one to work with. I had a lot of fun being able create these amazing animations and applying them to real world situations. I started out just creating a bouncing ball. Then over time, when I had exceled in the program I started creating short little movies. Such as the fish movie that is underneath the Flash section of my website. I really enjoyed working with Flash and I look forward to using it again sometime.
All of these Adobe programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash have showed me that I can accomplish so much more when I know how to use a program and how to apply my knowledge to make something incredible.
